Strategy board games have been reimagined into this one!

8x8

Description: A fun strategy board game for two-four players.

Rules:

Place a pawn (general) in each corner of the board. Decide who’s going first by any means necessary. The player that goes first then rolls the two dice (if rolled doubles, place a random domino next to one of their pieces and then moves a piece the amount rolled), and moves that number of spaces with their general OR one space with their armies. Diagonals are not allowed. Then, play will continue clockwise.

If a player lands on a divided space, then if they place their general on the top space then they get the corresponding colored army (red or a lighter color), or they place it on the bottom one and they get the corresponding color army (blue or a darker color). To decide how many armies you get, roll on dice. Then, place them adjacent to the space the general’s on.

If you have red armies, then those can move left, right, or up, but blue armies move left, right, and down. If an enemy general is next to your armies, then the general will have to roll a die to decide who wins. If the general rolls less than the number of the armies total in that space, then the general is eliminated and so is the player. If the dice ties, then the general is sent back to his corner of the board and the armies are sent next to their general. If the dice rolls higher than the number of armies, then the armies are eliminated.

You can’t stay on a divided square for more than one turn, and you have to wait another turn to get back on a divided square.

Generals can’t attack generals, and armies can’t attack armies.

To get rid of a barrier, roll the pair of numbers that it says on the domino. Then, move your piece(s).

Be the last player standing to win.

What you'll need to build your own: A piece of paper, 4 pawns, 15 cubes of four different colors, and dominoes of any kind. To make the board, draw it like this:
